Vale Tony Spandonis
The club extends its deepest condolences to the Family and friends of Tony Spandonis also affectionately known as Spanna.
Tony was a much-loved long-time member of the Sunshine / Mt Derrimut Golf & Community Club. He represented the club many times in the Golf Australia Pennant teams and was a tough competitor who gave his all as he did in all things in his life.
Tony was also a past Club Champion.
Apart from being a champion golfer, he was a champion bloke who loved a drink and laughs with mates. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He will be dearly missed. RIP Spanna 🌹
Funeral Information
Tony’s family have advised that the hearse will travel through the golf club at 10.00am prior to the service commencing at 10.30am on Friday.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there is a limit on the number of people that can attend the service so therefore, we will be holding a viewing (streamed live) of the service from the clubhouse on the big screen. At the clubhouse, we will also be offering tea, coffee and refreshments after the service.

It has also been requested that everyone that is attending bring their drivers to use as a final salute to Tony in a guard as the hearse drives through the golf club.
