Dress Code - General Overview

Standard of dress and general appearance will, at all times, determine the privilege of all Members and visitors to use the facilities of the Club.

Fashions change from time to time, but the principle is that clothes must be neat, clean and commensurate with that expected of a semi-private golf club. The General Manager maintains the flexibility to alter these rules for special occasions.

The Committee will determine what is suitable attire and Committee Members, together with the General Manager, Club Professional and designated staff, will require compliance by a Member or visitor where appropriate.

Bar, Lounge Area, Dining Room and Terrace

Neat casual wear is required. Caps and hats are not to be worn inside. Smart casual wear is required for evening dining unless specified otherwise.

Dress on the Course

Men – Golf attire is expected to consist of tailored slacks or tailored walk shorts. Shirts must have a collar and be tucked in. Garments with any advertising slogans (except for discreet brand name and Club logos) are not permitted. The wearing of short socks is permitted provided they are white or white with a discreet logo.

Women – Tailored slacks, skirts, tailored-length pants or long shorts are required. Shirts must have a collar, abbreviated tops, leisure suits, track suits and jeans are not allowed.

Children – Children’s attire should at all times be neat and appropriate to their usage of the Club’s facilities.

Golf Shoes – Specifically designed golf shoes must be worn.

  • My Derrimut can be a nice and challenging course. It has up hill holes, down hill holes, water holes and wind coming in from every direction. It’s my local course and has a great driving range and mini golf. The people in the pro shop and the bar/cafe/restaurant are always friendly and welcoming. The view from the outdoor area back down the 18th is a great place to watch players and groups coming in. Highly recommended. They also have some great deals for memberships.

  • Good range under covering wit a city view in the far distance. Easily accessible at all hours, just walk in and use pay wave in the machine for sixty balls for 12.50

  • Wide open fairways immaculately presented which the ball sits up on like a cushion. Not a lot of trees which is forgiving, but some interesting hazards throughout the course. Overall the course felt extremely long, but there's good bounce and roll. The greens are like slate which takes some getting used to, but the ball runs true. The bunkers are like compacted builder's rubble which there's probably a trick to getting out of but I didn't figure it out, so best to steer clear of them where possible. Club house is large and very nice.
