AGM March ’22

A great evening at tonight’s AGM, not only celebrating the results year ending 31/03/2021 but also the financial results to date. It’s fair to say the club is in a much healthier position than before. As a part of this AGM, we also celebrate the Special Resolution where the club welcomes Marion Heard, Bob Heard and Evelyn Tricklebank as Honorary Life Members of the club going forward.

Bob & Marion Heard both have been part of the Mt Derrimut / Sunshine family since the 1970s and assisted the club well beyond of what is expected of a member. Bob who is unfortunately no longer with us anymore served as Club President for over three terms (6yrs) whilst also being pivotal in the move of the club from West Sunshine to Derrimut.

Marion Heard herself was Lady President and Lady Captain combined for over 7 years. With this, both Bob and Marion volunteered their time not only in these roles but also in various other facets of our club.

Evelyn Tricklebank has been one of the clubs longest members, being of age 91 and still playing competition 2-3 days a week. Evelyn also served as Lady President and Lady Captain in two seperate occasions for a combined total of 5+ years.

To Bob, Marion & Evelyn – we quite simply – Thank You
