The Sunshine Golf Club was established on the 9th of July 1923, at the Sunshine branch of the State Bank, where a meeting between prominent local business people interested in forming a golf club was conducted. Mr H.V. McKay, of Sunshine Harvester fame, was appointed the club\u2019s patron, with Mr Thacker elected as President at the first General Meeting held with the club\u2019s inaugural members.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
